About

I am an acupuncturist, reiki practitioner, dancer, gardener, daughter, sister, and auntie.  I have always had a passion for natural medicine and ways.  For the past 10 years I have been deepening my understandings and abilities to help people using Acupuncture, Reiki and Herbs.

My Acupuncture background is rooted in the Five Elements/Phases. I earned my Master’s in Acupuncture (2006) from the acclaimed Tai Sophia Institute in Maryland (now Maryland University of Integrated Health).  I hold a BS in Biology (1998), a Health Coach Certificate from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (2004) and a 2nd level Reiki attunement (2013). After completing a year course in Chinese herbal medicine (2006), I discovered another healing tool and have continued studying Chinese herbal theories by recently completing an in-depth herb course with Evan Rabinowitz (2020).

Currently, I treat and manage at Brooklyn Acupuncture Project – a semi-private clinic in the Gowanus area of Brooklyn.
